Ray is amazing!!!!! We called Ray after a subcontractor assigned by our builder tried to “stucco” our fireplace 2 times with tons of cracks. Ray immediately agreed to come and look at it for a consultation fee and made us feel confident with his 30 years experience in stucco he could fix the mess we had. Within 2 days he was personally at our home stuccoing our fireplace! It is exactly what we wanted and the focal point of our new covered porch!! If you need stucco anything, Ray is your guy!

I initially contacted Ray to repair some cracks on one side of my stucco home (~3,000 sq ft, two story wall) which sits on a farm in Hillsborough. He arrived on-time, was considerate, professional and highly informative. An emailed quote for the work was provided within a few days after his visit.
I had purchased several Andersen windows that I was planning on installing on this same wall before having Ray out for the stucco work. After realizing that window installation on a stucco home is not as trivial as a siding clad home, I called contractors for quotes. Most did not return calls and for those that did, most said they would not touch stucco or that a stucco specialist would be needed after the window install. So it dawned on me that Ray might know someone who could do this work and do it correctly. He came back to my house (>1 hr drive) with one of his employees who has over 15 years of experience in construction. They assessed the job, answered all my questions and were knowledgeable. A few days later, they provided me a very, very reasonable quote to install the new windows, replace all rotting wood brick moldings around the new windows with vinyl moldings, grind-out all the stucco cracks, re-surface the whole wall, caulk all joints, and paint the wall and trim (2-coats). The quality of the resulting work far exceeded my expectations - I cannot emphasize how satisfied I was with the work. While they were on-site, I hired them for additional stucco repair and painting on the remainder of the house.
Ray and a team of two completed all of the work over the course of two-weeks (there were rain-days throughout). The two crew members were kind, considerate of the animals on my farm (even after attacks from tom turkeys), and clearly skilled. Ray showed up on-site >5 separate times during the two-weeks, inspecting the quality of the work completed, and taking the time to speak to me on every visit about what was done and what was going to be done next. To me, I got the impression that Ray clearly cares about the quality of his company's work, his employees, and the clients he works for.

Greetings. I had not performed any maintenance on my stucco house since I moved in over 10 years ago. It had holes in it from woodpeckers, previous patch work was starting to show through, and the color was fading. I called Ray's Stucco and scheduled a visit. Ray was on time, professional and very nice. We went over my concerns, what I was looking for, and he gave me different options. I was impressed by what he had to offer, some of which he was able to demonstrate (e.g. different paint products), and it made choosing his company easy. When it came time to getting the job done, Ray and his crew (3-5 guys) showed up as scheduled and on time as expected. They were very professional during the entire process and they did a fabulous job. He and his crew are true craftsman and they take pride in their work. I was very impressed that Ray himself showed up every day to oversee and perform work on the house. To add his finishing touches, Ray's crew powerwashed my house and walkways and they painted the window shudders and a flower box. Overall, I could not be happier. He simply does excellent work and nothing less. I would trust Ray's Stucco for any stucco work that needs done and I highly recommend him.

We hired Ray to do a repair job for us on a roof we were replacing. Ray and Diana were both exceptionally professional. Any time I had a question I could call or email and would get a response very quickly. Ray was very attentive to details and customer service. He was always sure to update us on how the project was going and what his timeline would be to complete the work. It is obvious Ray is skilled at his trade and cares about the end product. The quote Ray gave was very competitive and very detailed as to the work performed. We highly recommend Ray's Stucco for any of your stucco repair needs.

I recently sold my home and our home inspector identified some cracks and potential wood rot around my chimney. The inspector indicated that we would need a contractor who was licensed to work with EIFS stucco insulation material. My Google search turned up Ray's Stucco and I asked Ray if he could come to look at my chimney. He was there within a week and quickly found that there was water getting through this coating resulting in wood rot in the plywood underneath the stucco on two sides of my chimney. He explained the work needed to repair this chimney coating. He was back the next week and completed the job in three days. The chimney now looks perfect and has drawn admiring comments from my neighbors. I would highly recommend Ray to anyone needing this type of work - he is the consummate professional, and a pleasure to work with.

In July, 2016, I had the pleasure of dealing with Ray Coppage of Ray's Stucco regarding repair of a poor stucco application on my new house. An attempt to remedy the problem by the original stucco contractor failed. I contacted Ray Coppage and invited him to inspect the stucco application on our house. I wanted to know what was causing the problem we were experiencing, whether it could be fixed by putting on yet another coat of the stucco material, and whether other repair alternatives existed.Ray came to our house promptly. He conducted a careful inspection of the existing stucco application. He explained the source of our problem in detail. He made a repair recommendation using Dryvit’s "Textured Acrylic System" material. We agreed with his proposal. The outcome was simply great when compared to what our walls looked like before Ray performed his work.Ray did everything he said he was going to do to fix our problem. He started work on the day he said he would, and stuck with the job until it was complete. The jobsite was always kept clean and neat throughout the work. When all was said and done, we could not have been more pleased.I would like to comment on Ray’s workmanship. In a word, it was excellent. The outcome of Ray’s work was superb, and stood in sharp contrast to what our house looked like before Ray’s work. We were delighted with the finished product.I would highly recommend Ray Coppage to anyone who has a exterior wall problem, or who desires an exterior wall material application on new or existing construction. He is experienced beyond any question, knows his business, and will do what he says he will do. Our experience with Ray could not have been any better.

I cannot praise Ray’s Stucco enough to convey the experience I had with him and his team who provided the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, workmanship, and timeliness in performing, what to me was the extremely big job of redoing the stucco on my 5600 square foot house and guest quarters. I had just moved in, and my closing settlement included “repairs” to the existing stucco which had been patched already in several areas, and needed more than another patch job. Within the first week that I moved in, Ray gave me an estimate which I think was reasonable given the complexity of the work to be done. He personally assisted me in choosing new stucco colors and grains, adding cornerstones, and reviewing designs. His team began work almost immediately, and they worked 6 days a week for long hours, were extremely polite, diligent, and hardworking and did their best to not disrupt my personal schedule. They always removed debris immediately, and were very accommodating to any requests I made. During this time, I had a demanding travel schedule, but felt very comfortable having his crew work on my house while I was traveling. Ray originally said the job would take 8-10 weeks, but they were able to complete it in less than 6 weeks. There were no hidden costs; the job came in on budget and way ahead of schedule. Ray was very involved in the day to day work planning for his team, and did some of the detailed work himself to make certain it looked perfect. He also worked hand in hand with my landscapers to protect expensive shrubs and trees and identify potential water drainage problems.Ray is extremely knowledgeable about stucco and EIFS, and can identify pitfalls in advance and avoid them. His attention to detail is quite amazing, and I am extremely particular. Importantly, his crew is also very knowledgeable and accommodating. I have done a fair amount of renovating with other houses, and I have to say Ray’s Stucco is one of the best contractors I have worked with. On a scale of 10, I would give Ray’s Stucco a 15!

I was searching for someone who could address problems in my exterior chimney "stucco" coating that had been identified as critical by a home inspector. The problem was more than just some cosmetic issues, but involved an EIFS layer that was allowing water to get in and rot the plywood base around the flue. I found Ray with google search and asked him to come look at the chimney and showed him the inspector's comments. Ray not only knew exactly what to do; but was able to get his team on site the following week and completed the job in 3 days. My chimney now looks beautiful and most important, is truly waterproof. I would definitely recommend Ray's Stucco to anyone needing an EIFS or Stucco Contractor.
